Join us online or in the Travel Alcove at McNally Robinson! Danica Lorer will share stories and experiences that she has collected over her more than 20 year career as a professional storyteller. As a facilitator of creative writing workshops, she knows storytelling requires risk, trust, and relationship building as people find the common threads weaving their own stories together. Jay Semko was first known as an international recording artist and lead vocalist/bassist with Canadian rock icons The Northern Pikes. Since then, he has also released nine solo albums, worked in movies and television, and has recently published his first book, “The Poetry & Lyrics of Jay Semko.” Jay will share excerpts from this book. This evening, we invite you to come along with these two artists to explore that special place known as common ground.
